Ammonium sulfate is an acidic fertilizer. It can increase the acidity of the soil. Therefore, attention should be paid to using alkaline fertilizers in acidic soils, such as plant ash, rock phosphate powder, or calcium magnesium phosphate, etc. When used in neutral and alkaline soils, in order to prevent calcium ions from combining with sulfate ions to form insoluble calcium sulfate (gypsum), which can cause soil hardening, it should be applied together with organic fertilizers.
According to the growth characteristics of plants, scientifically matching nutrient elements can meet the nitrogen fertilizer requirements of various plants.
